Castle Ladyhawke

A fairytale castle in the Blue Ridge Mountains · Tuckasegee, North Carolina

Our Setting

A Real Castle in the Mountains

Perched on a mountainside in the Blue Ridge, Castle Ladyhawke is exactly what it sounds like — a real castle, tucked into the folds of western North Carolina. Completed in 2005, it was drawn from the stone castles of Scotland’s Borders: turrets and a Great Hall, a 14th-century fireplace mantle, stained-glass windows, and even a hidden room behind a bookcase. It opened for weddings in 2008, and blends history, fantasy, and mountain romance — the perfect setting for a Bridgerton celebration.

Getting There

In the Blue Ridge

You’ll find the castle at 1698 Shook Cove Road, Tuckasegee, NC 28783 — about an hour southwest of Asheville, with panoramic mountain views in every direction.

Our Celebration

We’ve reserved the entire castle for the evening — just for us. Here’s a taste of what the night holds.

Dinner & Treats

A buffet dinner, a charcuterie & local cheese spread, a wood-fired pizza station, and chocolate ice-cream sundae shooters — plus our wedding cake.

Raise a Glass

A four-hour bar with beer, wine, spirits, and soft drinks, served throughout the reception (for guests 21+).

Mountain Magic

Café string lights over the terrace, glowing fire pits, patio heaters and cozy blankets, valet parking, and a grand sparkler send-off.
